Has your MacBook Pro been running slower than usual? Well here’s some tips for you to speed it up. Going through your folders (Documents, Pictures, Music, Movies) and deleting unwanted items will definitely help. Drag the unwanted folders to your Trash and make sure to empty your Trash to remove them from your hard drive.
Although tip is going to your Disk Utility by searching for it on your MacBook. Click on the appropriate hard drive, mine is Macintosh HD. From there click Verify Disk Permissions and Repair Disk Permissions. When that is completed click Verify Disk and Repair Disk again. Another important step is to click on Clear History which will remove your browsing history which can cause your computer to be running slow.
If you want your MacBook to really speed up the best thing to do is upgrade your RAM. For instance I had 4GB of RAM on my MacBook and purchased a stick of 4 to speed up my MacBook and noticed a significant improvement.
